Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, and Bubba Watson were just some of the famous golf names in Latrobe, PA today.

The golf pros showed up to honor the “King” of them all: Arnold Palmer.

During the memorial service, held at Saint Vincent Basilica Parish, Jack Nicklaus got up to speak about his lifelong friend.

“He was the King of our sport and always will be.” Nicklaus said during his emotional tribute. “Today I hurt, just like you hurt. You don’t lose a friend of almost 60 years and don’t feel an enormous loss.”

“He was an everyday man,” Nicklaus said during his speech. “Everyone’s hero. Arnold managed to remove the ‘I’ from icon and instead let the world share in his greatness.”

“Each of you sitting here today or perhaps sitting at home has at least one wonderful memory of Arnold Palmer to balance out your hurting heart. So, today and many years from now, I simply ask you to just remember when..remember when Arnold Palmer touched your life, touched your heart, and, please, don’t forget why.”

You will be missed, Arnold.
