At the first concert at Iowa City’s Kinnick Stadium, Thomas Rhett joined Blake Shelton, Big & Rich, Tucker Beatheard and others to benefit the Native Fund. During his set, Rhett was joined by Iowa-born TV and film star Ashton Kutcher for a cover of  Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places.” reports The Boot.

“Y’all think Ashton Kutcher knows the words to the third verse?” Rhett asked the crowd, adding, “He ain’t gonna mess up, but if he does, y’all got him covered, correct?”

“Do the Hawkeyes got my back on this one?!” Kutcher yelled before beginning. “One verse, one time, Iowa style.”

After a little help from Rhett at the start, Kutcher took the lead on the rest of the verse and the final chorus. Then Rhett handed him a beer and Kutcher let the crowd take over.

The Native Fund is a non-profit organization founded by Kutcher and former NFL football player Dallas Clark and with the mission of “Iowans helping Iowans.”
