Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley just received a Grammy nomination for his debut solo single “The Driver” but now he’s putting his tour on pause.
The remaining 2015 dates for “The Driver Tour” have been cancelled.
The tour was supposed to run from Nov. 28 through January 2016.
While the group is on a hiatus, Kelley wanted to play some smaller and more intimate venues, expanding his set list to more than just Lady Antebellum songs.
“I’ve played some great shows at arenas and amphitheaters, but I’m definitely looking forward to getting into clubs with people grabbing on your legs and being able to see every face. I can’t wait to get right up there in it with the fans and try out some of this new stuff we’ve been working on. I’m pretty excited about just scrapping the setlist and playing whatever we feel like playing,” he said when he announced the tour.
