While Taylor Swift’s fans enjoy her unbelievable concerts each night, there’s a specific phrase they’re all waiting for the songstress to say: “Please welcome to the stage…”
The first three nights at her Los Angeles 1989 World Tour included special guests Alanis Morissette, Ellen DeGeneres, Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks, Kobe Bryant, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, Matt LeBlanc, Chris Rock, Uzo Aduba, Sean O’Pry, and Mary J. Blige. Just when when the world thought she might be out of friends, she shocked but didn’t disappoint fans by bringing out St. Vincent and Beck.
The threesome performed Beck’s new song “Dreams.”
“Getting to play ‘Dreams’ with Beck and St. Vincent is something I’ll remember forever,” tweeted Swift after the performance. “I can’t even express it.”
Annie Clark also showed her gratitude via social media. “Had the most MAGIC time with the most brilliant and venerable @taylorswift13 & @beck tonight. #DreamComeTrue”
Later joining the stage in a separate performance was John Legend. The two played a ballad of “All of Me,’ but the duet almost didn’t happen!
“I found out John and Chrissy were coming thirty minutes before I went on and called Chrissy and asked her if John would perform,” Swift said.
Of course, John said yes.
