Jamey Johnson Talks Surprise Christmas EP ‘The Christmas Song,’ Flugelhorn Solos

Jamey Johnson promised last month that new music was on the way, and he hasn’t disappointed.

Yesterday (Nov. 24) Johnson dropped a surprise Christmas EP called The Christmas Song. The five-song set includes holiday classics like “Baby It’s Cold Outside” featuring Lily Meola, and “Mele Kalikimaka” featuring the Secret Sisters. It also includes “South Alabam Christmas,” the first Johnson original we’ve heard since 2010.
