The new Taylor Swift Education Center is officially open at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Taylor attended Saturday’s ribbon cutting ceremony, which gave local media a sneak peek of the facility’s three classrooms, a student art gallery and interactive exhibit hall.

The Taylor Swift Education Center was funded by her $4 million donation, which is the largest gift from an individual artist in the museum’s history.

Taylor Swift talks about the Taylor Swift Education Center: “And there will be demonstrations and instruments, you know that kids can try without having to spend money and buy one for themselves. If they want to come here and they want to learn or they want to hear a songwriter what it is to really craft a song. The fact that that can happen here is really unbelievable.”
