Eli Young Band At Joe’s Bar On Weed Street [Review]

There is no doubt that each night a band plays live, the crowd is different. There is also no doubt that for two nights at Joe’s the Eli Young Band took a few hundred people to a different place each night.

We celebrate moments. It may be as short as three minutes for one song, but for those few minutes the band and everyone in the crowd connects, and we did for two straight nights.

Both Thursday and Friday opened with Eli Young’s hit “Always The Love Songs” and both nights ended with a Tom Petty cover.

The difference was the songs they played in between. A sold out crowd sang along to every song Eli Young had to offer.

Both night’s featured Eli Young’s number one hit “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and both nights we made memories we won’t soon forget.

After the hits and a few cover songs were played and the crowd refused to leave, both nights, and every person left every ounce of singing on the dance floor.

The Eli Young took us to a warm place. The bright lights, the loud guitar, it was two nights we’ll all hold close.

Both nights ended with Eli Young’s hit “Crazy Girl” and each night left the crowd feeling ready for more.
