One of rock’s biggest music festivals has just added a certain country-pop superstar to its massive lineup.

Kenny Rogers will join Radiohead, the Beach Boys, The Roots, the Avett Brothers, and dozens more June 7-10 to perform at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.

Kenny, it turns out, is going to have a busy year. “The Gambler” is also performing May 9 and 10 in Nashville as artist-in-residence at the Country Music Hall of Fame (they’re already sold out), and he’s got additional dates in the U.S., New Zealand and Australia.

On top of that, he’s got an autobiography scheduled to be released this fall through HarperCollins.

And finally, according to his website, he’s “carving out time this year to begin recording a brand new studio album with producer Dann Huff (Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban).”

Throughout more than 50 years in the music business, Rogers has performed country, pop, rock, jazz, and other styles, earned 21 Number Ones, and sold more than 120 million albums.

Along with “The Gambler,” hits of his include “Coward of the County,” “Daytime Friends,” “Reuben James,” “Lady,” “Lucille,” “Just Dropped In” (with his ’60s band the First Edition and famously featured in The Big Lebowski), “Islands in the Stream” (with Dolly Parton), and “Ruby, Don’t Take Your Love To Town.”
